Gaming in Europe kicks off an event-laden year at ICE Barcelona

Gaming in Europe (Gaming in Holland, Gaming in Germany, Gaming in Spain & more) will return in 2026 with several noteworthy events. 

 

Over the years, Gaming in Europe has developed an outstanding reputation across the continent offering knowledge & networking to decision makers in European regulated gambling markets. 

 

At the end of 2025, Gaming in Europe launched its new mission statement “Let’s reclaim the market” across all its brands, highlighting the importance of the licensed industry coming together in fighting the black market. 

 

In 2026, Gaming in Europe will host the following industry events. 


January 19 – Gaming in Finland Evening Conference @ICE Barcelona

 

With Finland's iGaming re-regulation now firmly on the horizon, Gaming in Europe, in close collaboration with local stakeholders, has decided to host a Gaming in Finland Evening Conference. 

 

The event takes place Monday, January 19, 2026, from 18:00 until 22:00 at the five-star Renaissance Barcelona Hotel – close to the Fira de Barcelona, where the main ICE event is located. 

 

Confirmed speakers include:

January 20 – Gaming in Germany Breakfast @ICE Barcelona

 

As always, the Gaming in Germany Breakfast at ICE is where the main stakeholders in Germany's regulated iGaming market meet up to reconnect with each other at the world's largest gaming industry event. 

 

The Gaming in Germany Breakfast @ICE 2026 will take place January 20 from 09:00 until 11:00, at a location near the main conference venue.

 

Germany's leading gambling lawyer, Dr. Joerg Hofmann, Senior Partner at Melchers Law, has kindly agreed to provide a brief presentation at our Gaming in Germany Breakfast in which he will highlight the very latest regulatory and market developments.

 

Ms. Nadja Wierzejewski, Head of Enforcement at the German regulator GGL, will deliver a word of welcome.

The Gaming in Holland Lunch at ICE traditionally brings together all key decision makers in the Dutch regulated gambling market. 

 

The Gaming in Holland Lunch @ICE 2026 will take place January 20 from 12:30 until 14:30, at a location near the main conference venue.

 

Mr. Michel Groothuizen, Chair of the Netherlands Gambling Authority, has kindly agreed to deliver a word of welcome at this gathering.

January 20 – Gaming in Spain Afternoon Meet-Up @ICE Barcelona

 

The Gaming in Spain Afternoon Meet-Up at ICE offers an excellent opportunity for stakeholders in Spain's regulated iGaming market to reconnect amidst the global ICE crowd. 

 

The Gaming in Spain Meet-Up @ICE 2026 will take place January 20 from 15:30 until 17:00, at a location near the main conference venue.

 

Leading gambling lawyer, Xavi Muñoz, Managing Partner at ECIJA Barcelona, has kindly agreed to provide a regulatory update at our Gaming in Spain Afternoon Meet-Up, which will include an overview of the latest legislative developments.

June 4 – Gaming in Holland Conference

 

The 2026 Gaming in Holland Conference returns to the KIT Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam for another round of presentations and discussions on how to move forward in the Dutch regulated gambling market. 

 

July 2 – Gaming in Spain Conference

 

Our Gaming in Spain event returns in 2025 to Madrid. Discover how to make most of the opportunities offered by the regulated Spanish iGaming market. 

 

November 10 – Gaming in Germany Conference

 

The 2026 Gaming in Germany Conference will once again return to Berlin, where the currently ongoing evaluation of the 2021 State Gambling Treaty – and its political implications – will undoubtedly be a major topic of discussion.
