GAMING IN EUROPE
Terms & Conditions
By registering for or attending any Gaming in Europe event, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
1. Contract
1.1 A legally binding contract comes into existence when we confirm your registration by email.
1.2 Acceptance of an order is subject to ticket availability. We reserve the right to decline any order.
1.3 Confirmation will be deemed effectively communicated when we send the email, regardless of whether you receive it.
1.4 No registration will be accepted until full payment has been received, including applicable VAT.
1.5 Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled, except as set out in section 5.
1.6 If an event is cancelled by the organiser, you will be notified by email and the face value of your ticket will be refunded.
1.7 If an event is rescheduled, you will be notified by email. Tickets will remain valid for the new date.
2. Pricing & Tickets
2.1 Ticket prices for each event are as stated at the time of purchase.
2.2 Payment by credit card may incur a service fee, which will be shown clearly before checkout.
2.3 Tickets will be delivered to the email address provided at the time of registration.
2.4 Please check your ticket upon receipt and contact us promptly if there are any errors.
2.5 It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date.
2.6 We reserve the right to cancel orders that exceed the maximum ticket allowance per booking.
2.7 Only one discount code may be applied per order. Discount codes are valid until three weeks before the event.
3. Events
3.1 Gaming in Europe events are for professional attendees aged 18 and over only.
3.2 The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee from the venue at its reasonable discretion, including on grounds of health, safety, security, or behaviour.
3.3 No refunds will be offered to attendees refused entry or removed from a venue due to: appearing to be under 18, declining to be searched, abusive or threatening behaviour, intoxication, possession of offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised recordings.
4. Liability
4.1 Where we act as agent for third parties, we accept no liability in connection with those arrangements.
4.2 We are not liable for any losses arising from inability to access our website or failure to complete a booking online.
4.3 We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss of any kind arising from use of our website or purchase of tickets or services.
4.4 Whilst we take every care to ensure tickets are delivered on time, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
4.5 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss, damage or injury to any person or property howsoever caused.
5. Transfers
5.1 Tickets may be transferred to another attendee free of charge up to 48 hours before the event. To request a transfer, please contact us at info@gamingin.eu.
6. Privacy & Data
6.1 By registering for a Gaming in Europe event, you consent to the collection, use and retention of your personal data as described below.
6.2 Your name, company, contact details and booking information are stored on our database and used to process your registration, manage your attendance, and resolve any issues.
6.3 Your company name may appear in event-related publications or delegate lists.
6.4 We may use your information for internal analysis and administration. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
6.5 Your data may be shared with venue management or co-organisers solely for the purposes of event administration.
6.6 We operate in accordance with applicable EU data protection legislation.
6.7 Gaming in EU BV reserves the right to make image and/or audio-visual recordings at its events and to reproduce or publish those recordings in any format, including via livestream. By attending an event, you grant unconditional permission for such recordings and their publication, without entitlement to compensation.
7. Website
7.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions or amend our website at any time without notice.
7.2 We are not liable for unauthorised use of your payment details on our website.
7.3 Our website uses industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Do not submit payment details by standard email.
8. General
8.1 If any part of these conditions is unenforceable, the remaining conditions continue in full effect.
8.2 No failure to exercise any right under these conditions shall constitute a waiver of that right.
8.3 These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
